Despite the damage the region has suffered, the story of the Lake Victoria Basin is far from one of abandoned hope. This ecosystem retains much of the environmental richness required to support its dependants for decades to come. Help us raise awareness of the beauty, possibilities and potential that Africa’s largest, and the world's second largest, lake holds.
Contributions via our Go Fund Me page will ensure that the team can spend all their time liaising with the community and partners, covering basic living costs and enabling them to feed their families. Our Finance Trustee will oversee all spending and report through our quarterly statements.
Even small acts of kindness can lead to big changes. We have lots of projects around Mfangano island that need sponsorship and are making a real difference to people and the environment.
